In order to connect to SCC-Guest wireless network, you will be required to use your Stanly Community College username and password. (This is the same username and password you use to access WebAdvisor, Moodle and your student gmail account.) If you don’t have a username and password and you are a guest at Stanly Community College, please contact Tech Support at 704-991-0222 to get a temporary login.

How to connect to SCC-Guest network

1. Open your default browser and leave it open. (Internet Explorer, Chrome, or Firefox will work)

2. To connect to the SCC-Guest network click on your wireless network icon in the bottom right corner of your screen.

3. Select the SCC-Guest wireless network from the list of available connections and click the Connect button.

4. You should now see the SCC Guest login page as shown below in the browser you opened up earlier. Enter in your Stanly Community College username and password and select the submit button. You will then be able to access the internet. If you use this method, you will have to login each time you want to access the wireless network on an SCC campus.

Note: It may bring you to a page saying that "There is a problem with this website’s security certificate" telling you that the website isn’t trusted, click the link that says “Continue to this website (not recommended)as shown below:
